I stuck to under 20 grams of carbs through out Thanksgiving no problem.
My wife roasted us a butterball turkey and it was the tenderest most moist and tasty turkey I've ever had. Yesterday I made turkey, mushroom, onion, celery, spinach and garlic soup that was outta this world good. The more we stick to our low carb regiment the more we realize how rotten we use to eat. If I was ask to rate how I felt before and how I feel now I'd have to say eating this way is an 11 on a one to ten scale. Just how much better my wife and I feel is enough to keep us on our path, losing weight just seems like an added bonus to this all. My only issue I can see is the drinking enough water issue for me. I gotta drink more more more.

I have really been scratching my head at what knocked me fo far out of induction and finally found it. Of all of the things that could, added sugars to deli meats, too much splenda in a day, to many nuts. (I was on about day 22 so nuts were ok) Anyway, my wife and I made a small saucepan of chicken, mushroom soup. Well i got the bright idea...add a can of this tomato paste for flavor not even considering the carbs. Well that little can added a whoppin 32.15g of carbs to our soup undoubtedly being the thing that broke my ketosis...lol
All is well, live and learn. I am back in ketosis again but what a slow learning curve huh.
