Trying to make sense of this....
To be honest with you, I really hadn't been counting calories for the past year. I just watch everything that I was eating and working out to maintain body weight. I used the 2000 calories as a baseline from the research that I did. This thing here had me at 3000. Honestly I average between 1700 to 2000 per day. I drink 10-12 glasses of water a day but I am terrible about the fiber thing for sure. I guess I shouldn't really complain as I have lost 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks but I was so spoiled when I started losing weight the first time, it was just so easy....

Yes I am very aware of the carb issues. I watch everything that I eat. Fish, chicken, average 125 grams of protein a day....Maybe your right about the taking time....

Trying to make sense of this....
Ok, about 3 years ago, I lost 100 lbs and for the last 3 years I have maintained that weight without gaining any back and I am proud of that fact. I recently decided that I wanted to finally lose the last 30 lbs. So I lowered my calories to 2000, I work out 6 days a week. I run/walk 5 miles a day plus lift weights every other day. Through 2 weeks I have not lost 1 pound. That makes no sense to me at all. I am 6'2 255lbs and want to get to 225. According to everything that I have read, I would have to eat 3500 calories just to maintain my weight with my workout regiment.

Anyone have any thoughts? I am thinking of heading to my family doctor to have my thyroid checked but I feel fine so I am completely confused!
