Well I have well with the walking challenge this week. I managed to get in 1.5 miles on Tues, 2.5 miles on Wed, 2.25 miles on Thurs, 4 miles in on Friday (still in pain from that), and 2 miles in on Sat. Gave my self a rest on Sunday mostly because my feet and calves were crying from all the standing and running around I did at work on Fri/Sat. Valentine's day was a crazy day at work, (I work at a hotel/restaurant so you can imagine). Now I need to get back on track with the dieting. Still haven't bought a new blender after my disaster a few weeks ago so haven't been eating what I should, only walking and working out when I can. I am not too sure I like this challenge that I have started. It says that I have "failed" because I did not loose any weight but the challenge wasn't to loose weight it was to walk 10 miles for the week which I did. I think something should be changed on there, its kind of a negative message and not very reassuring. Just saying.

Had a difficult time this week trying to keep up wit everything. I haven't really been doing workouts as much as just going for long walks. On Tuesday & Wednesday I walked 2 miles and Thursday I worked my way up to 3 miles, then Friday I was short on time so I went back to 2 miles or I wouldn't have made it to work on time :/ The reason for this was because I had a horrible start to my day yesterday, went to make my morning shake and my blender would not turn on, so lucky for me i happen to have a 2nd blender that someone happened to give us as a housewarming present right? wrong! I am still not quite sure how it happened but as I had my shake blending I turned around to grab my cup so I could pour my shake and while my back was turned "bang", "splash", "crack" and any other sound you can think of, the entire blender was in pieces all over the floor along with my entire shake. So by the time I cleaned that up (only 4 cuts on my hands -- they were small)I got dressed and went for my walk, came home and set off to work. By the time I got there I ad realized that I had never eaten anything to replace my shake and hadn't made my shake for lunch either :( what a stress haha, other than my Friday mishap, been busy with work, class,& homework so haven't been on here much (again) I'm thinking I am going to have to set a timer to remind me to post every night along with my snack,lunch,water,dinner, walk the dogs timers lol!

Been a bit of a stressful week. Haven't really had any time to get on here and log my food/exercise info. Thankfully I also keep a real(paper) food journal too, so I can at least put it all in and see how I did without having it all calculated for me. School started up last week and already I feel overwhelmed with classes, work, and keeping up with the house on top of trying to stay on track with my diet and workouts. But I know I will get through it I am determined not to quit and to reach all of my goals. So far I have accomplished New Years Goal #2 -- Loose 5 lbs by the end of January :) I am still doing ok with Goals #1 -- 30 days no soda-- and In my mind I have accomplished it and technically I really have accomplished it because I had already gone a week without soda when I made the goal, but hasn't been 30 days since I made the goal yet so I cant say its officially accomplished. Goal #3 is in the works -- Loose 10 lbs by end of Feb. That's 10 lbs from the original weight not 10 lbs more from goal #2. I am hopping that once I get a handle on school work and my body gets used to the more challenging workouts I have been doing that I will be able to spend more time working out and increase to maybe about -2 lbs a week. I am really happy with what I have lost so far but it would be nice to speed it up just a bit but at this point I am just happy I am not gaining and I am not sitting at the same place.
