I'm 41, married with a 23 year old daughter,who has recently left home.I have been battling with my weight my whole life.I successfully lost 35 kilos on the atkins diet and promptly put it all back on plus more as soon as i went on to the maintenance part of the plan.I'm studying and spend alot of my time in front of the computer, so am motivating myself by putting it all out there on the net.I joined weight watchers today,my husband doesn't know it yet but so has he..So here i go.. wish me luck..

ridiculous scales!!!
I don't know about anybody else but when i jump on the scales i can put on up to 5 kilos overnight!!!
is this normal??? I'm not eating any differently, so it's a bit confusing..Confused

Switching
Hi guys,I didn't lose anything for 3-4 weeks on the points. So decided to cut out all "low fat" foods and breads,low fat seems to mean high sugar!! and I have now lost over 4 kilos in just 2 weeks!!
Very Happy i now eat only "real" food ie: veges, meats and nuts, and have replaced my skim milk with full cream!! and the weight is falling off!!
may not work for everyone but i'm definitely happy.. good luck..

Diet Pills....
Hi everyone, I'm on the weight watchers diet and was checking out all the posts and came across this one.. apparently the chinese drink bucket loads of jasmine tea for a reason!! my mother just got back from a long holiday in china and was advised to drink jasmine tea all day as much as she wanted while she was there!! the chinese say it helps in the illimination of fats from your system.. needless to say my mother ate and drank her way through china and came home 1 kg lighter!! and she bought 2 kilos of the tea home with her!! i'm from australia so thats why the kilos!! hope this post helps somebody out there... good luck with everybodies goals..

Points or Core?
points lets you eat what you like and has shown me where i went wrong. i always believed i didn't eat the wrong type of foods,i was very wrong.. now i seem to be eating more, and am aware of what is going into my body.I like a glass of wine and chocolate every now and then, and points allows that.try points one week and core the next, then decide what you want to do.. good luck Very Happy
