40 Days To Better Living, Day 35, Healing:
Faith Life:
Read Luke 8:40-56
God has done so much healing in my life. He has healed many hurts of my childhood, my young adult life, things I have done to myself, including the weight I have let myself gain. He uses all these hurts to show me so much as well. I truly see how I am the dirty messed up clay and he is the strong potter with beautiful hands, to mold me.
Medical:
Possibly talk to the doc and about wieght loss progress.
Movement:
Spend 10 min. working out, and 5 min. stretching
Work:
Move legs around if sitting for too long
Emotional:
I have felt healing from forgiving those who have hurt me. Releasing the hurt and picturing the fact that those who hurt me are Gods precious child. That person was born inocent and has suffered many hurts as well and God loves that person just as me.
Family and Friends:
Talk to friends and family what healing looks like to me
Nutrition:
Switch to low fat cheese and watch portion size.

40 Days to Better Living, Day 32, Sounds:
Faith Life:
My fav. sound is the sound of crashing waves or streams, the sound of water is so relaxing. I can hear God in the water because He created it and He is ultimately relaxing.
Medical:
Be aware of my blood pressure
Movement:
Go for a walk and listen to the sounds.
Work:
If possible listen to music as I work. (I do this a lot. In the car to take the kids to school, radio or cds on as I do house work, and sometimes mp3 player as I walk)
Emotional:
When I feel frustrated make some noise if possible. (I really felt like letting out a big scream the other day because I was so frustrated)
Family and friends:
When getting together with family and friends, play a game so that the whole time is not focused on food.
Nutrition:
Make a big pot of soup for dinner and save some to freeze for a lunch some time.

...I made a colourful meal yesterday and it was a good stirfry. I was concentrating on the seasons of my getting off track and i was able to focus and act like I was not a failure but it was a season and I'll do better now.
