Fasting day (Sun midnight to Tues noon). The excess weight means that the first 24 hours are easy to do because I don't lack for glycogen stores, but the next 12 were difficult with detox side effects that were getting annoying. Broke the fast with thanks to God, herbal tea, and an apple. What it interesting is that I felt no desire for coffee, which I love (black), but herbal tea.

Huge carbo day, one massive blood sugar spike from wheat carbo; after stripping the glycogen from the muscles with 10,000m on the rowing machine.

At Good Life fitness after two spinning classes. Had 60g carbohydrate and 50g protein in chocolate milk with protein powder between classes and recharged glycogen in legs so first 35 minutes of the second class was fun and last 10 minutes was painful. Had 30g carbo and 30g protein after second class. I feel great.
