After following the induction phase closely (learning halfway through that what I considered to be closely and what was actually close were two different things ...), I spent the weekend eating healthy but not atkins. Good news is, I only put on 2 lbs. I'm back on, and its SLOW going - since Tuesday and I've not lost a SINGLE lb. I'm hoping that come Monday I'll be much closer to where I need to be - I really do expect to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks on this induction - everyone else seems to, why not me?

OK, interesting enough, I went to dinner with friends for his birthday last night, we choose a restaurant that had good low carb foods - but it was a pre planned dinner only, every meal with heavy on the rice. I felt like other than rudely picking at the tiny bit of protein, despite my best intentions, it was time to just break the diet and eat the meal. I did leave most of the rice on the plate and only had a touch of the desert, chosing the lowest carb option. No one noticed and I just did the keto stick and I'm in small amounts still! I'm really excited that I was able to get it back that fast.

Now I'm PO'd. What the heck? I had a Hardees low carb burger - I even pulled off the tomatoes - and water, then some peperoni slices, and my ketosis sticks are SOLIDLY in the no trace elements area - they were slight this morning, and now ... nothing. I'm being hard core here - don't know what else to do.
