Doing well! Just came home from camping at Lake Dennison near New Hampshire, just my hubby and me. Very beautiful and relaxing. My eating plan was great, MCT powder in coffee in the am, boiled eggs, or a couple pieces of salami for lunch, and grilled meat/chicken and veggies on the grill for dinner. I am so excited that I have started my walking program! The road around the campsites was a mile and I walked it everyday, many days twice. Canoed around the whole lake with my husband, and climbed Mt Wachusett - 2 miles straight up. It is going to be hot and humid this week but I am going to try to keep it up.

Going well and I feel good. Leaving today for a 2 week camping trip near New Hampshire. Plan to jump start my walking and take out the canoe. Will be somewhat of a challenge with food, but plan on grilled meat/chicken and low carb veggies. My goal is to be below 200 by early November.

I had set a goal to be at 212.2 by today and have exceeded it by a pound! Blood glucose at 98 this morning.

This is so unbelievable! I am 68 years old and have struggled with my weight and eating issues/cravings since I was in my early teens. I have lost weight and regained it and then some countless times. There are clothes in my closet from size 14 to 22.
Anyway, I am doing a loose keto (loose because I don't log my macros). But I am convinced that it is cutting all sugar, flour, and processed foods (except deli meats and hot dogs, kielbasa) that has finally found me the weight loss and more importantly the peace I have sought most of my life.
I used to finish dinner ad spend the rest of the evening snacking on crackers, ice cream, chips, etc. Now, I have coffee and mct powder in the morning, lunch of some protein, veggies, butter, and dinner the same. Aster dinner, I brush my teeth and that is it for the day. No cravings, and satisfied. I feel healthier than I have in years.
My goal long term is to lose 6 or 7 pounds a month until I reach 165lbs and short term to be under 200lbs by mid October.

Doing very well, blood sugar 94 this morning. My goal is to be below 200 by the end of October. I feel fairly well and am not craving anything anymore. It's amazing what a difference not eating sugar, flour and junk foods can make. I am fortunate that I love veggies as that and fats are what is keeping me satisfied.
