I haven't checked in for a while. I'm maintaining my weight, avoiding alcohol most of the time, and have a great pandemic exercise regimen - working out with weights at home about 3 times per week and doing yoga twice a week. I've been logging my food on a different site, that lets me track calcium, important since I have osteoporosis. My weakness for ice cream continues, something that I would like to work on. I have chosen alcohol as the more important item to eliminate. The upside of my ice cream addiction is that it helps me reach my calcium target! I'm very happy with my weight, but would love to keep my sugar at healthier levels, and lose the little bit of tummy fat that it keeps on me in spite of all. Hello to you FatSecret friends! I do periodically see your posts, and you are all awesome, working the plan in your own ways!

I'm going to reluctantly put FatSecret on hold for a while. I need a program that allows me to track calcium in my diet, and that's not one of the choices available on FS. My husband and I both have osteoporosis and it is important. I've looked for other trackers and only Myfitnesspal allows you to track calcium. I love my FS friends, and will probably be back, but I need to see what I need to do to make sure that I and my husband are getting enough calcium. I really like the FS apps otherwise and will probably be back.

Today I was able to use the skills that I learned at the gym, and I'm very proud of that. We bought a Casper hybrid mattress on the internet, and it was delivered today. I tried to pick it up to bring it in, and realized that this was a very heavy package. We got our dolly and brought it into the house but the dolly was not the right size to negotiate the steps upstairs to the bedroom. From the bottom of the steps my taller husband pushed while I squatted, engaged my lats, glutes and abs, and pulled, one step at a time. I didn't think we could do it. Together we brought it up step by step. I am grateful to my trainer who showed me how to do these things safely. This was my primary exercise of the day.

For all of my friends, hang in there, we make progress step by step. I will likely be back to maintain the progress I've made.
