I know what I'm losing right now is probably more water weight than anything but it still feels good to see the lbs dropping. :)

Today's my birthday! Woke up feeling great! Went to lunch with friends and ordered a salad no dressing. Came home and again resisted my son begging me to go out to dinner for my bday. I ate my own dinner and fixed the family tacos with 93% lean ground beef. Everyone ate at home. :)
Didn't go to the gym but did a 55 minute Boot Camp DVD at home instead. I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

I went to the gym after work and came home ready to eat healthy and I did. However, it was very hard and I'm now sitting home alone cause my husband took the two kids out to dinner. I did not want to go but they were all begging me saying let's go celebrate your birthday. I'm glad I stuck with my original plan. I don't like being sabatoged on day one! I know there will be plenty of temtations and I do plan to eat at my birthday party on Saturday so I'm saving all my extra points until then. :)

Hi! Last year, I got to within 10 lbs of goal weight. It wasn't long before travel, school, work, and stress got the best of me. I started slowly gaining the weight back over the last six months. I've decided it's the start of a New Year and a new ME! I don't want to just lose the weight for spring/summer anymore. I want to lose it and keep it off. Tomorrow is my 34th birthday and at my 35th birthday I want to be proud of myself for having lost the weight and kept it off!!
It's been a great start so far today and I'm heading back to the gym this afternoon.
