Started with WW when I was 9 yrs old. Can you even believe that crap? Anyway, I was on Atkins for years and stayed kind of thin. About 10lb over my BMI. Look good in cloth but very scary naked.

Last year I had Colon Cancer. I got thin while recovering. It was very hard to recover, but I loved the tiny tummy. Even swollen it was tiny. I of course had trouble eating etc..and lost weight. Well then I ballooned up to 185. It was horrible, but I was determined to have a great holiday. My bf is much younger and I wasn't going to create drama over my weight. So I bought a couple of new dresses a fresh pair of spanks and was jolly for the holidays.

Then New Year, it was time to loss weight so I got on phentermine and lost 15 lbs. and stayed with my docs’ recommendation of 22-30 grams of fiber per day. I have a high stress job. And with the economy the way it has been I have been busting my ass trying to keep business. I had a "meltdown". My stress was killing me. I had to get off those pills.

So I started looking at Atkins again. I didn't think I could do the fiber and Atkins. But has anyone noticed that the old Atkins Advantage bars did NOT have 10 grams of Fiber, the new ones do. So I am back on Atkins. If I eat 2 Advantage bars and add an avocado. I am in the doctor’s recommendation.

I know lots of people like to blame the sick person for being sick. My sister is one of those. My lil sis asked the surgeon”she got this from Atkins, right?” And my surgeon said..."no, a lot of research has been done on what causes colon cancer, the general understanding is this is caused by stress, I have never met a colon cancer patient that did not internalize stress, such as IBS, constipation etc..." Just so you know. She still stressed the fiber to keep my colon clean. She even told me if I can't eat all the fiber by the end of the day, just drink some benifiber.

I have to get down to 140.
