This evening will be a little scary. I have a bachelorette party to attend. Yikes.
I plan on having 800 calories by the time I go this evening. I'm just worried about pressure to drink from friends. I might have a rum and diet coke or two and if I don't fill out the rest of my calories on appetizers, I'll have something light when I get home.
I just don't want to get sucked into over-indulging.

It is Friday. I started monitoring my progress on the site on Monday (though I technically started eating better last Friday).
I've been following through pretty well. I've been taking one green tea pill (150 mg green tea extract) three times a day. I haven't been watching my fat, carb, or sodium intake. I have been religiously watching my calorie intake though. I get 200 calories in the morning, 200 before I leave for work at noon, 200-400 at work on my break, 600 for dinner, and 200 for dessert. It has been working pretty well to keep me full. I still am getting a little hungry, but not so much that it breaks my will power. Hopefully after another week or two of maintaining this calorie count, that will go away to some degree.
I plan to weigh in officially on Monday, but I did a test weigh last night and was down a pound.

Today I picked up some green tea extract capsules and MLO Natural, Super High Protein Powder.
I am hoping that I can increase the protein in my diet to between 50 and 75 grams per day.
I know the benefits of drinking green tea, especially for dieting, since it can help you burn a few extra calories per day. However, I don't like tea. I've never like tea. And trust me I've tried to like tea. :) Unless I blot out the taste with honey and sugar, I can't enjoy it.
So I figured I'd try the capsules. I've had green tea capsules before for energy, but not for the other benefits. So we'll see. I'm going be taking two capsules per day, which is 300 mg.
