Hi my name is Margie. I am 46 years old turning 47 in October. I suffer from Bipolar disorder. I have had a gastric bypass done in 2009. I did it for medical reasons and emotional reasons. I use to eat as a source of comfort for me. But after counselling it helped me learn positive ways to do this. I use to weigh 234 lbs and I had chronic back pain, I had to use a cpap mac and have been dealing with acid reflux. My ex husband said " you look like a man and you are not attractive". That is a big reason why I got my surgery. We divorced and now I still see that bigger person in the mirror. I still go to counselling to discuss this. I've been throwing up and have had really bad stomach pains. I had a scope performed and they did a biopsy. They have found out that I have a very rare stomach condition called Granulomatous Gastritis. When I looked it up online it said that 56 biopsies out 15000 have had this result. I do know what foods and the amount that I can eat since I have had my surgery in 2009. It says that it usually is combined with another stomach disease such as Chrones or a few more other conditions. Reading about these conditions it said to look at my diet. That is why I am keeping track of my diet. Does anyone know more about this condition? If so please message me. I am very worried. I also want to weigh 135 lbs which is recommended for my height and age. I hope this tracking of my food and excercise will help.
