... end of day 2 on fat secret.
today was way better. woke up and ran for 60 minutes and am ending my day on 825 calories - which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert ... AND a beer (bud 55) w/my hubby. In addition, I will be successful on my 'challenge' I am participating in on here - no snacks after 8:30pm. My last snack was at about 7pm - and I am done for the evening. Tough - yes, however, I found keeping myself busy on other tasks (dinner, dishes, ets) helped keep my mind off of everything in the cabinets I wanna eat...

Had a way better day today - hoping it helps tonight when I want to devour EVERYTHING in my home ... :)
Started the day off w/a serving of Fiber One cereal and fat free milk - then ran on my treadmill for 60 straight minutes!! (a HUGE accomplishment for me that I conquered a few days ago).
Exercising in the morning helps me for sure - the TORTURE of it alone reminds me to be more careful with what I put into my mouth .. the better I eat, the less hard core exercise I'll need in a day - the wrose I eat, well the more I'll be running and sweating that day, and frankly it's not worth it! :)
... got about 1 1/2 weeks til I weigh in on my '6 week' journey .... can't wait!

Yikes. End of Day one of fatsecret and I totally failed! I don't get it. For four weeks I've been doing so well. Completely sticking to my calorie counts, eating healthy and fortified foods and exercising. It started Mother's Day when I didn't stick to my plan or follow my daily meal/exercise regiments - and here it is Wednesday and I've binged again. I am so upset.
For the FIRST time since I was 19 - (years and years and YEARS ago) ... I ran on the treadmill for 60 straight minutes yesterday. When I hit the 30 minute mark I was bawling like a little baby - very proud of myself and so happy - then today, I eat pretty much everything in my house - after all that hard work running. GRRRRRRRR.
Will I ever conquer this beast?

This is my first day on fatsecret. I am happy to have found it.
My 'journey' began 6 weeks ago when I quit smoking, cold turkey, after smoking for a cummulative of about 14 years!!!
Two weeks into the 'smoke-free' lifestyle I found myself gaining weight at a ridiculous pace, in addition, I was already near my peak weight to begin with. :(
For the last 4 weeks I have counted calories and implemented exercise through out the week, drinking more water and purchasing better foods. Four weeks ago when I weighed I was 161 - and a size 16 (my peak was size 18 in the past) ... I will weigh in two weeks to see my progress.
I don't know how long it will take to lose the weight I need to lose ... but I have put my best foot forward in doing so. I quit smoking to be a healthier, more energetic mother for my boys - yet couldn't be, because I was/am overweight!
I feel I've turned a new leaf ... and hope I stay on task!
