i've been eating alot more whole grains lately. i've even cut out cheese a bit more these days. my jeans are getting a bit looser and i'm getting happier about the results. also i added doing 50 squats for the last 2 days. all this to a sedendary lifestyle.

my motivation has been really low. recently i have been re-evaluate my reasons for wanting and needing to lose some weight. it took me 2 years to gain 50 pounds, i will presume that it will take me the same time to lose it. right now my goal is to stay active daily for 30 full minutes and lose 1 pound a week. if that can happen then so be it.

is there anyone that happens to live near me? cause if i don't have a reason to leave the comforts of my home, i won't. lately i've been looking for work that is my immediate area, i'm not anti-social but i am finally comfortable with my homespace. i would be glad to walk, ride a bike, or meet up at a park via bus to walk around for awhile together. i have gotten a better handle on my eating habits, i just don't have any motivation to move around and i'm so not into a gym or something that costs a fortune to attend just to lose the weight naturally by something as simple as walking. i miss the trails in the pacific northwest but now i'm here in so. cal and i wish to enjoy every aspect of it. for now i would like to lose a few pounds, get the clothes down one size at a time, progressive weight loss lasts longer from what i understand.

tomorrow i must focus on being more thorough with my food journal. i haven't been for a few days now, all i know for sure is that i'm lactose intolerant now so there's some more minor changes in my eating lifestyle, i miss the thought of mac and cheese already. i need to search some more sites for my dietary needs.

slow and steady, i know i could stand to lose at least 20 lbs. for my health. so today i will continue my vegetarian diet, i am lactose intolerant come to discover recently so, goodbye cheese :( i have been drinking soy and or almond milk now for awhile and luckily i like to enjoy feta cheese and goat cheese with rice or nut crackers. i do however need to check labels more closely for the content of milk products in them such as breads and the few convience foods i consume. so today i will add my 30 minutes of walking to my daily activities for the next 90 days as the "walk, walk, walk" challenge suggests. i look forward to succeeding with realistic results.
