Progress not perfection. Nevertheless it was a rather difficult month. In addition to being beset by a few overwhelming cravings, my schedule forced me into positions where I was dining out with friends and clients. Very difficult to maintain my discipline in those situations. Nevertheless I continue my quixotic quest with renewed determination.

Oh my. This month was not as easy as the last month. Said the Tortoise to the Hare, "Slow and steady wins the race". It is a long race.

After a month I have lost 13+ lbs. it has not been terribly difficult, but there is more to learn, or perhaps remember, and much to do.

day two

yesterday was surprisingly easy. woke up a little hungry or maybe not. I had not had any coffee this morning and let it go for a couple hours because frankly I was lazy.

finally I made myself a cup of green tea and it is made all the difference.
