My BMI is now just under 25. That's happy! I will keep going, working towards my goal of having it under 24, and my goal of completing my Masters thesis. BPs are much improved with reduced salt, and I have cut sugar and unhealthy fat calories. Hoping to crush check-in with my doc in 2 months! Thanks for your support, FS fam!

Breakfast is a must for me! I know lots of people love to skip it, or they just don't feel hungry first thing in the morning. I wish I felt that way, but I'm an early riser and I'm always hungry when I wake up. This breakfast, made from a little bit of many nutritious things - buckwheat groats, almond flour, chia and sunflower seeds and flax meal with berries and a small dab of plain yogurt - gets me going and carries me through feeling satisfied and energized. I drizzle a little monkfruit-sweetened maple-flavored syrup on top just to top it off. Delicious with coffee and sunrise.
