nice result for this week- losing inches, not pounds, May be if I could walk a bit more I would lose more, but the weather hasn't been walking weather and now we are expecting 70mph winds. I'll just carry on sorting out stuff I've had for years.

I work in a charity shop for three and a half hours one day a week- how should I record this on my exercises. I stand all morning and am sorting out the bric a brac and walking into the shops to put it onto the shelves. According to my steps on my phone I walk for almost two miles. How do i record this- any suggestions please?

Weighed myself today- no weight loss but lost 1.5"from my waist, happy with this. Walked yesterday and the day before, but it's icy out there today so possibly no walking.

Actually lost 1lb... So I have arthritis in my right knee, had my left hip replaced
11 years ago and damaged my instep in October last year, all of this has not helped with weight loss.
So after a very rainy autumn- no going to my veg patch, we have had several days of no rain at all I decided to go yesterday afternoon. The site was just muddy, the weather was cold-5 degs - but i managed to put in some garlic and shallots, which will become pickled onions later in the year. Both of these veg are possibly 3 weeks later than they should have gone in but the bulbs were both ok.
What's great about growing your own veg is that you get the exercise and you get to eat food that you have grown, plus apparently it's good for your mental health.

Well I'm back again.... Reason- not an excuse, mobility issues plus some sort of a virus which affected me for most of December. Not an unexpected result when I weighed myself this morning. My partner has been prescribed as pre-diabetic, I'm not but will be using his diet to help me lose some weight.
