Two glasses of water first thing every morning is an idea that I got from Men's Health so I have been doing that and it is very easy to remember to do it.
Past that it has just been eating and drinking less. Keeping busy helps a lot.

Bouncing around the 'teens' but I have a 5k next weekend for Parkinson's so I have been a little more steadfast in my diet this week.
I think I can hit the course at around 213 lbs. which will help me achieve my goal time of under 30 minutes.
Portions, portions, portions. This is what I have been doing this week.
A couple-two-tree hundred calories in the morning; same for lunch; then half of what I normally eat for dinner - say 500 to 1,000 calories. At night I will have a light beer or three but no nuts or other snacks of any kind.
The dinners are especially hard because my wife is a great cook and once I mention that I am on a diet all she wants to talk about is what food to make. So if I stay away from the diet topic it is better for both of us.

Lost my motivation after the trip to Cabo over Thanksgiving. Now I have a BWCA canoe trip coming up with the family so better start paying attention again.
