Today it was about 90 degrees again and Ben and Jerry were giving away free scoops of ice cream. Of course I went - I succumbed to peer pressure. We got there and they had the free scoop menu out and I saw low fat mango sorbet. I thought that would be a great choice. So I ordered that and didn't eat the cone. It's a fruit and we can have fruit........
I tell ya I am no better than my 7 year old some days. hahahaha.

The weather here has been ridiculous; 85 - 90 degrees - but still no reason what so ever to cheat. I took my son to TGI Fridays for dinner - Kids eat free on Monday. I got one of the right portion meals - Cedar Salmon with pasta. Guess I could have picked something better but these are portion controlled meals so they are 1/2 the calories of the regular meal. I did drink a diet coke though. I didn't prepare any meals so this is the result of not preparing. Oh well onto the next day.

I weighed in today because I did really poorly this weekend. I wanted to weigh in to see just how much weight I gained. I think I use this as a means of motivation - something to get me thinking about doing the right thing all the time.

I can quite say that I cheated on Thursday. But I guess in a way I did. It was volunteer day at work so I had signed up to go out with save the bay and clean up the estuary. It was a great day. They brought in lunch for us and I ate everything in site. I had a grilled chicken wrap, bbq chips and oh I forgot a big oatmeal cookie. I did alot of gardening and then final cleanup which involved quite a bit of walking, climbing rocks, bending etc. It was a good work out, so good that I woke the next morning very sore. I tried to be mindful of what I ate that day so I didn't eat a huge dinner. I hope the I didn't fail to much this week. My goal this week is to finally get under 190 pounds. We shall see.....

I really like this site. I love all the different challenges that are available as well as the fact that there are so many different dieting groups available. Can't wait until I start tomorrow! Looking forward to trying the detox fat smash recipes!
