I had a rough 2 weeks in which I found myself slipping back into my old habits. I noticed that I can better control myself M-F but when the weekend arrives I go crazy. I am going to try this weekend to prepare my lunches, snacks etc and make sure I have something healthy before I step out the door and if I eat out, remind myself to get a to-go box up front and put half the meal away imediately.

I didn't realize how easy it would be to eat small meals every 2-3 hours. It's been the key to my success this past week. I don't feel deprived and I don't really want to cheat, but I think that has something to do with the fact that I am eaty tasty foods. I've chosen not to eat super fatty, high caloric things. Healthy is tasty, you just have to be creative. I just pray that I can stick with this and reach my goal. I've made so many attempts at this and have always failed and I know I failed because of the boring selections, restricting myself from having my favorite foods etc, etc, etc.....

Just started new blood pressure pills and as always have to adjust to the side effects such as nausea, headaches, dizziness. Didn't get in any exercise. Also have to change diet as well...

I'm down 4 lbs but I look at how I did over the past week and I cheated quite a bit. I can't complain too much because I did lose weight but I need to work harder on following the diet and I need to get the late night snacking under control.
