Ok so I know I’m gonna open up a can of worms here but I’m seriously confused. I started in January at 240 lbs. I was only walking two miles everyday and doing OMAD. I lost a grip of weight. Was down to 220. Then I read something about if you start lifting and gain muscle you will lose even more weight. So I literally built an entire gym in my house and have been hitting the weights daily all the while I was still walking daily. I gained all my weight back. I’m sure in muscle but quit seeing the fat loss. Someone on here told me to run and not walk so I started running over 3 miles a day everyday and still lifting. I’m only gaining weight and not losing fat even though I am running daily. So now I wonder if I should be doing one or the other instead of both. Had some advice on here to only lift or only run but not do both. Starting to believe that is true. Any words of wisdom out there for me?
