I am currently about 5 months pregnant. I'm wanting to use this site to track my food intake and exercise as I try to gain as little as possible during this pregnancy and work it off ASAP after giving birth in November. When pregnant with my first child I had the mindset of "I'm pregnant, I can eat WHATEVER I want".... well I ended up gaining 50 pounds and never did get back to my original weight because I knew I wanted to get pregnant again soon and didn't really have the motivation knowing I would have to start all over... well now I'm motivated to stay within the recommended range of gaining weight and shred it FAST as this is our last child. I was very sick in the first few months of pregnancy and so far have managed to only gain about 6 pounds the first 21 weeks of pregnancy. (Dr's aren't sure if I'm 21 or 24 weeks along.. will see at next Sono apt.) They have already decided to induce me a week early if the baby is ready so I will go 39 weeks. That means I have 18 weeks of pregnancy left. If I can keep my weight gain to one pound per week, which is recommended, I will gain 24 pounds. This will put me at 179... yuck... but that is only 4 pounds heavier than I was with baby number 1. I have started working out as well as eating healthier so hopefully I can keep the gain down to even less than that so I don't have as far to go in the end... here's to hoping!
