So here we are after baby number 2... I was successful in my goal of not going over my max weight from when I was pregnant with the first. I started out much heavier this pregnancy, but was successful in gaining much less. After having this baby I got down from 175 to 158 within 2 months, but have had a lot going on with family. My mom and sister have moved in with us and their eating habits aren't healthy at all. They have rubbed off on me and I've gained back up to 166 pounds in 2 months. I am going to get back on track and really focus starting today towards losing back down to a happy weight. I am really down on myself with the way I look today. So... Here's to losing weight and feeling great!

I am currently about 5 months pregnant. I'm wanting to use this site to track my food intake and exercise as I try to gain as little as possible during this pregnancy and work it off ASAP after giving birth in November. When pregnant with my first child I had the mindset of "I'm pregnant, I can eat WHATEVER I want".... well I ended up gaining 50 pounds and never did get back to my original weight because I knew I wanted to get pregnant again soon and didn't really have the motivation knowing I would have to start all over... well now I'm motivated to stay within the recommended range of gaining weight and shred it FAST as this is our last child. I was very sick in the first few months of pregnancy and so far have managed to only gain about 6 pounds the first 21 weeks of pregnancy. (Dr's aren't sure if I'm 21 or 24 weeks along.. will see at next Sono apt.) They have already decided to induce me a week early if the baby is ready so I will go 39 weeks. That means I have 18 weeks of pregnancy left. If I can keep my weight gain to one pound per week, which is recommended, I will gain 24 pounds. This will put me at 179... yuck... but that is only 4 pounds heavier than I was with baby number 1. I have started working out as well as eating healthier so hopefully I can keep the gain down to even less than that so I don't have as far to go in the end... here's to hoping!
