My name is Jessica, and I am a fourteen-year old, 5'1, freshman. All of my friends are very thin, with curves. I also have curves, and they are appreciated, but I'm not as appreciated as my other friends are because of my larger physique. I want to feel more comfortable in my daily surroundings with myself. I always feel self-conscious around other people. A lot of times, I feel my weight is not only an obstacle but also something that prevents people from wanting to hang out with me and see my beauty as it is without my weight involved.
