Birthday, wedding anniversary, emotional rollercoaster being fed high carbs and alcohol; well what a surprise (not), this is the heaviest I have been in my life. Oh, I had a fit two months ago (never had one before) and was kept in hospital for a couple of days, CT and MRI normal and the specialist will see me in mid-January with EEG result. Mum had brain tumours. Going to gym with exercise physiologist and have a home workout plan too, the spare room downstairs is becoming my home gym. I have to be careful with light-headedness. Seriously returning to low-carb, wine already cut right down. I'm really trying to get a grip here, I'm too old to throw my life away.

Yet again I sigh deeply and put my hands on the reins. I have seriously cut back on my drinking wine (from 5-10 glasses daily down to a couple of glasses once a week, yay!) but carbs slid straight into the empty space so I am nailing keto to the mast again and avoiding "social" meals, coffees, etc. I also discovered I am sensitive to maltitol, yuck.
On a bright note, I picked my first tomatoes of the season today :-)
