No weight loss, but that's not surprising due to the fact my carbs were incredibly high yesterday due to Red wine that I had last night with the Hubs. Even though I was under the amount of calories, it's not difficult to see where I went wrong. Yesterday too was a fast day, meaning I didn't eat until 5pm, from 5pm the day before. But I did this knowing I was going to be having a few glasses of red wine.

My lifestyle is changing however in terms of alcohol use, which use to be a lot higher (shamefully admit), it's just Friday and sat nights where I may have some, though we're sticking to vodka now due to the NO CARBS. Anyhow, a shout out to those of you who supported and commented on my previous post. I really appreciate it. I'm not the type of person to follow lots of friends and things (I suffer from clinical depression and major social anxiety), but it was truly wonderful to see your helpful comments!

Starting again. Lost almost 50lb a year ago, and sadly due to bad choices and change in medication for depression, I gained close to 30lbs back. It was extremely disheartening especially when the weight came on so fast, so sudden. If only we could lose it that quickly.

My diet is a low carb, high protein with intermittent fasting. Typically I have two to three meals a day, with a snack of nuts. I don't eat anything after 6pm, and then eat again the following day at noon, so I'm fasting for 18 hours between meals, each day. I did one whole day of just vegetables at the beginning (I started on the 6th of July) and thus far have lost 10lbs. Since Monday though, I've not lost anything else, though I'm hoping it will be different tomorrow. I'm determined to stick this through, but will allow myself one day of "little extras" - being Saturday where I can have such things as perhaps an ice cream cone, or something to that effect.

I have to stop thinking of the 50lbs I lost, then near gained back and look at this separately. I've done it before, I can do it again. I -will- do it again. With my clinical depression though, it's not always so easy to be motivated.
