I have lost 10 pounds in the last 10 months, and am fearful of the winter time. I work a high stress job at a ski resort (yes, its true) and rarely have time for myself from Thanksgiving Through Easter. I am terrified of gaining those 10 stupid pounds back! beer, red wine, cheese, and reeeeeeeely good chocolate are seriously the only things i think about. Im not kidding. I miss them dearly, as i have cut back drastically. I am getting sick of vegetables, and cant stand the sight of tuna fish any longer. I have deprived myself of all that is good and am about to dive head first into a chocolate cake, or ribeye. I cant decide which. what the hell, maybe both. at the same time.
I really am just so bored with "dieting" that i think im actually losing a bit of love for food. and seriously, like, no joke, i love food more than a lot of things. I dont considder myself an "over eater", i just like a lot of stuff that is bad for me. And i dont mean french fries and milkshakes. I mean wheels of brie, good italian chianti, chocolate truffles, mizithra and brown buttered pasta, oysters- all things in the world that make life beautiful. like a really good filet mignon or maryland crab cakes. REALLY PEOPLE! i am sick of tofu (used to like it), sick of mixed steamed vegies (grew to like them, now hate them), sick and tired and really just disgusted with tuna fish, and dont EVEN get my started on egg whites. ugggghhhh. Is it all worth it? I really want to be one of those people that can say, "nothing tastes as good as being skinny", but seriously- i mean, have you ever HAD key lime pie? i mean really.
