Well, last night I had a gig at a place that serves steaks and such. Had one and calamari and 3 drinks. I decided to just let it go and start fresh again today. No workout yesterday either as I had no time between my day job and my singing job. It felt good to just not worry about it all. Now I am on day 1 of a 3 day weekend. No teaching. NO singing. Haven't had 3 days off in a long time. Sooooo looking forward to it. So looking forward to working out and seeing if I can do longer fasting sessions. So far, I have only managed to go about 13 hours. Last night I had a snack at 1 am when I got home. So won't be able to go more than 12 hours today, I'll bet. In any case, I am liking this new thing. It really does make me feel leaner and it is something new so it has me inspired. That's what I needed, something new to keep me on track. I plan on going to the gym every day this weekend too. And getting lots done around the house and such. I am hoping to be down a pound on Tuesday.... here goes!
Happy weekend, all! Happy life!
We can do this!

I am seriously so excited! I am back to the gym and it feels sooo good! I walked 4.25 miles yesterday and burned 745 calories. I walk on an incline at between 4 and 4.6 miles per hour. Feels so good! I am also not eating past 7 (trying to get it down to 6 pm) and then not until 8 AM. It is not 16/8 intermittent fasting, but I think it is still helping. I am seriously not as hungry as i was when I ate all day til bedtime.
Also, my tummy already feels flatter. Lots of people say that that happens when intermittent fasting and I guess they are right. I might try the 16/8 this weekend. Too hard for me to do on workdays.
Anyway, so excited to be down 4 pounds in 4 days. If I keep this up, I'll be at my first goal by next Friday (139).
I've caught the let's get into better shape fever. Who's with me?

Yep. She's back! Walked 5 miles yesterday in 68 minutes at an incline for a total calorie burn of 850 calories! Man, that felt good. I love walking on a treadmill. Love the de-stressing feeling and love watching the calorie burn count go up and up.
Ate well. Stayed within my target calories too. Woot! Feels good. I am 4 pounds away from my first goal. 5 from my second and 8.5 from my "OH MY GOSH! CAN'T BELIEVE I DID IT!" goal. I've got to stay motivated.
Any suggestions?
Best wishes to all!

So glad to see things moving along in the right direction. I have almost undone all of the damage I did last weekend (weekend away eating and drinking what i want-oy!). So glad. Want to be down to 142 by Friday. Then work super hard to get to 139 by next Friday. That would be wonderful!!!!!
We can do this people!

Back on track ....again. Stuck with the right foods and the right amount and a nice workout. Got lots of sleep. Trying a modified version of intermittent fasting. 14/10. Looking forward to being back on track and getting my ideal body back.
