I am still trying to keep a good outlook on each day. Jehovah God has given me so much to look foward to. Getting my weight under control has been a real challenge these last few years, but I can now appreciate keeping a journal, it shows me just what kind of progress I have made and under what circumstances I have been through.
I am not on the atkins diet per my Kidney Dr.s orders. I am following a well balanced kidney friendly diet, I found out December 2011 that I am diabetic and have had to watch my diet even closer adding in diabetic-kidney diet
I have tried to keep up with my exercises while still spending most of my time sitting in wheelchair, recliner,or hospital bed. somtimes I can get about in the house on foot but with problems standing for more than just a minute or two, that is why I have fallen over a dozen times in the last year, having vagil vagal syncope, Having nurses that had to keep a check on me for most of the year, and they would fuss everytime I would try to get up without assistance. Iwanted to get past this problem so they sent physical theripist to me to help me learn various exersises, so exercise is essential for keeping in good shape. I still weigh in 6 times a week at dialyisis, but choose not to keep up a daily or monthly weigh in as it has been too distressing to keep up with up till now. I will make it my goal to come more often in the future.

I am still wanting to lose weight, but I have been cheatingon myself somewhat, not to a great degree. i am still loseing weight, just a little slower. I am waiting till mid March to go full ahead all summer and hope to lose 50 - 75 pounds by winter.I am taking in stages so that I can guage effort to loss in weight, and t see if what I have lost was just a Lark. I truly want to get down to 175 pounds, I know that is a vwery ambitious goal, but if I take it as I am able in good weather, maybe I can reach and keep stable in my weight. It is truly a struggle to do tis ith stage 4 end stage Kidney damage, but I am a truley hard fighter with a very strong will.
I havestabelised fr about 3 months with even a 14 pound loss in weight since October 9th 2009. I am proud of my success and want to thank everyone in the community for all the encouragement to go for weight loss.
