Just turned 39 a week ago and need to make year 40 my healthiest. I am running a half marathon on April 25th and want to finish in under 2 hours. I fell 3.5 and 5.5 minutes short of that goal the last 2 years. I will also run my first full marathon in October. I can't do either of these things weighing as much as I do now.

Stuck in the Flat Syndrom
If you are really interested in getting into peak condition, I recommend P90X. All you need is a doorway pull-up bar thingy and some resistance bands.
My wife and I also use exercise.tv and record or download workouts from FitTV and DirecTV OnDemand. We even rent workout DVDs from the library.
