For some reason my calendar dates are switched on Monday (4/30) and Tuesday (May/1) because the time zone was off last night when I entered my food journal.

I have been weighing in first thing in the morning so I sort of feel like that's cheating a bit, but once school is out I plan to switch to weighing in once a week and will do so on a Wednesday afternoon. However, I need all the confidence boosting I can get for now! :)

Feeling better today. Am in good health. Ate well today, took May for a walk, worked on some breathing. Excited about getting back into mindfulness, meditation, body-is-my-temple, yoga type stuff, etc. Realizing that stress has probably had a bigger effect on my body than I was admitting. I've had an ulcer, gotten sick twice, put on weight, and just had lower energy lately. Time to re-focus and commit to a healthy lifestyle.

Felt terribly fat and that I'd "let myself go." Definitely motivates me to lose weight. I got sick on Sunday and that derailed my first attempts at getting back on the wagon merely because I didn't feel like myself and didn't exercise and felt gross for two days. However, I am better now and eager to refocus.
