well I am not doing low carb, I am just counting claories. I had stopped taking taking diuretics because they cause bladder spasm because with a diuretic I have to take an expensive pill to stop the spasms. It is well over $300 fro 90 days. Then there is Neupro patch for RLS that is over $600 for 3 mo. and Lyreca cost $220 for 60 ;ills and Horizant and I was expensive. I dont remember the cost of that one. It cost an awful lot to Keep me alive. That list is only a partial list. I do have insurance but I am in the "donut hole". I have part D on my medicare card, so I dont qualify for discounts from the manufacturers. I hate the cost of my medications, but there is nothing I can do. I have to spend $2000 on meds to get out the other side of he hole. The things you face when your body gets old and developes problems that you don't face when you are young.
I sound depressed, I am not \. This is just a fact of my life, not everyone's has these problems. Some people rock into old age with not a single health issue. God Bless Them.

Good lord I cant believe wht has happened to me. I have gained an incredible amount of weight. I don't know if I will be able to get it off. My Birtheday is in 3 days and I am old. I is not easy to lose wieight at the age of 69 and on a shit load of drugs that supposedly cause weight agin. I can't exercise like I would like. I had both knees injected today. That will happen 2 more times. I talked to the dr about having a Taylors bunion removed in October. And I have plantar faciatis. To top that off I have been short of breath when I walk, no supprise at this weight. Also I haver RLS. I am usuall awake until 2 or 3 in the morning with my legs jumping like crazy. I was up for 41 hrs straight. one night/day. It is a living hell. The Neurologist has changed my meds. 4 times not trying to find something that works. I know, I didn't gain this over night.. It has been over 300 days since I checked in.

Oh well, having said all that, I am back again and hopefully I will find the path to become a thin person. I was out tonight with friends and one of the girls is so thin. I really wish I knew how she does it....I know she really is strict with what she eats and she can run and does other exercises. I used to be able to do that and I was thin. Now I have just quit trying. I was strict at one time. Fred has mentioned that I used to really watch what I ate, meaning that I don't do that now! He is right. I have to become that person again.
