So I decided to do the 21 day fix. It takes a little while to get it in the mail, and I am chomping at the bit waiting for it lol. But while I was waiting I decided I will start a challenge group for others to join in on here as well. I will wait a few more days before getting the challenge set up so it can start Nov 1st. I decided to start it then so I can do the 21 days and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. Then start another one right after Thanksgiving and be done by Christmas. I cannot put into words how excited I am. I don't know about others but my family is very critical and walking into holiday dinner is always hard. I personally hate walking in heavier than I was the year before, no matter the reason. Well I had surgery last year and gained weight while I wasn't able to get up and move. I am still losing and even though I have lost 30lbs, I don't want to face them and their snide remarks. I know that I am healthier than I was, more active than I was, and in a better place all around. I need the confidence to back me up, and I know from others that have done this program it will help me to see the results and feel better in the journey. I am also going to meet my boyfriend's family again after 15 years. I do not want my fitness level and what everyone will think if I put those darn mashed potatoes on my plate to be weighing on my mind when I should be concentrating on having a great time. So until I get my challenge pack in the mail I will continue following my diet, going to the gym, and trying to get more steps in everyday.
