i started working out 3 years ago in march. when i retired in April 2013 i weighed 195 . 10 months later i weighed 235 lbs. i decided at that time i had to do something for the sake of my health being diabetic i needed to take some control i realized i cant help getting older, but i could help getting fatter. i decided i would prefer to be old and fit. In the first 3 month i worked out at the gym doing weight training, cardio , abdominal exercise. i made it my goal to progress slowly but to always try at each workout increase #of reps or weight and to try different exercise i tracked all workouts. i also decided to track all my meals and track all my calories as i exercised. i bought a polar loop and a hr7 blue tooth heart monitor . it was important to track my heart rate also as i didn't want to over do any thing. in 3 months i got back down to 205 pounds, i had also done a lot of cardio up to 3 hours some days. I Then decided to redo my workout doing more free weights and started loading more supplements deciding to try and maximize more muscle and to burn more fat.I got quite a bit stronger and my weight went up to 115 but i had a lot more core strength.in the last 4 months i have finally gotten below 200 lb
