Trying the South Beach Workout
Hey all. I thought I would pass on that you can try the South Beach Workout online for free. It's a "rental" of an online video. Here is the URL: http://tinyurl.com/4pvjc4

You can try it based on the phase you're in. Good luck!

Speed or Endurance??
Hey. Well I don't have the diet thing figured out, but I'm lucky enough to work for a fitness company. My colleague and trainer, James Greenwood says this: SHORT ANSWER: Low intensity (do the talk while you run/walk) and continuous and longer. Look at endurance athletes, they're very lean because they run very long periods at low training intensities. If you have a heart rate monitor or if your treadmill measures heart rate (most do), they you should be in the 50-55%, (walking at a brisk pace). This will also strengthen all your connective tissue so you don't get injured and you can work up to running at a higher intensity (cardio building). THE LONG ANSWER: James has a blog and he'll be writing a post on this very subject (from a training perspective, but useful for dieters, none-the-less) in the next week or so. If you're interested, go to http://mypypeline-triathlon.blogspot.com/ This dude is good and very knowledgeable!! Good luck!!!
