I have been juicing for one month. I drink juice all day then eat a "normal" meal at night. Am not losing much weight but I feel so much better! More energy, sleep better and not as tired in the afternoon. Will continue for another month and determine if I will continue.

I followed the BioTrust plan for 3 months and became ill. Discovered I have a dairy allergy. The BioTrust shakes have milk solids in them. Not a good combination. My immune system was low and I then caught the c. diffidus colitis bacteria. Lost 9# in three days. Scared the doctors and everyone else - including myself! After 3 weeks I'm back on my feet. I'm now juicing during the day and eating a small protein meal at night. Because my body is highly acidic I can't (at this point) drink the concentrated juice all day no matter how much water I drink. If I do I break out in a rash in the evening and itch all over! For protein during the day I grab a handful of cashews or pumpkin seeds as I am allergic to nuts (cashews are actually a seed!). I'm feeling great! I don't get hungry. I make 1-1/2 pitcherfuls of juice in the morning which lasts me all day and I have one glassful left over for the next morning. I've been juicing for 6 days and I've lost 6#. So for those of you who don't like to eat breakfast, this might be an answer for you. Make the juice the night before, refrigerate over night and take it to work with you in a cooler the next day. The biggest hassle with this is cleaning the juicer which takes about 10 minutes.

Several of my Oregon neighbors have been on the Bio Trust eating plan over the winter. They all say what a great plan it is and remark at how much healthier they feel. All are losing weight but mostly inches. One neighbor down 20# since Jan and 6 pant sizes! Only exercise is walking on the beach and yard work. I got bored on the IDP plan so am going to try this. Wish me luck!!
