So I have been exercising in the morning. And it has been working pretty good. I am going slow. I started out at 20 minutes last week and I am doing 25 minutes this week. I think I will add 5 minutes every two weeks until I am up to 45 minutes. Then I think I am going to add more in the evening. That is still something that I am thinking about. I have the Gazelle Edge with computer read out. I think that is helping me some. This morning, for example, I worked out for 25 minutes, did 2.06 miles and burned 250 calories. It is nice to see the results like that. I think it helps motivate. Also, you feel like you worked out enough to account for the sweat. Wish me luck.

I am having a hard time getting motivated to exercise. I have two options. 4:00 am or 4:30 pm. Neither time is appealing to me. My husband bought me a Gazelle for Christmas and I have to admit that I haven't been on it since I put it together. I know that exercising is something that I have to do for me but at times it feels like I am being selfish wanting to take the time to exercise.
I have to change my way of thinking - I should be taking care of myself and not worrying if the boys (husband and son- both are old enough to cook) have their dinner by 6:00. I need to keep telling myself that I am worth the time I need to make myself healthy.
