First day of my effort to live a healthier lifestyle.
I work in an environment where everyone else is very trim and toned. During NYE, my weight was brought up as a negative factor in the workplace, even though i know that my work does not reflect my weight, its hard to be the "fat girl" at my job.
After my last real boyfriend i have not taken care of myself, i was left in such a low place that I used food as a comfort during this hard time, after we broke up i gained close to 75lbs. It was like i didnt even care what the results were, but i just wanted to ease the pain. After a sling of meaningless "hook ups" i felt alone because no one wanted me other than a fling. looking back, the ex really lowered my self esteem. Now that i am happy in my workplace and in my friendships i want to work on myself & my love life. I hope this helps, it is the first time i have told anyone this and maybe the first step in recovery is admitting.
