Yay! Met both my new challenges today in spite of a rough start physically. I carry my stress in neck and shoulders and they were really tense this morning. My shoulders are still rock hard even after a massage. Much better tonight. Resting.

Bleh! Thought my scone would be a treat....my palate is changing already! That's a good thing....but shan't be doing scones in a long while! Even on "treat day".
Looking forward to the challenges starting tomorrow, Jump for June and Walk 30 minutes/day Gonna warm up today by walking the beach.

Keeping sodium down is showing itself to be a challenge. The rule of thumb of mb of sodium = or < # of calories is not the norm with processed foods or restaurant offerings. My blood pressure has come down since I have begun to reel it in though....hurrah!
Weight is frustrating. Dr. scale always shows me to be 10 lbs more than home scale. Yet my scale is right on with a friend's scale. Drat! Well will adjust my goals accordingly to 120 lbs--considering the Dr. scale to be the "world standard scale" for me right now. That should put me at 130 on their scale when I reach my goal.

Trying out a mini pre-breakfast of raw local honey and raw sunflower seeds. I like to have quiet time and devotions before breakfast and some days lead the devotions at work before breakfast so it gives me a little to get me going in lieu of coffee with creamer & sugar etc.
