I recently turned 41 and decided it was time to get into better shape. Over the past few years I have left myself go due to raising my two sons,a demanding job and a hectic life style. I live in the mountains of Maryland and the weather can go from one extreme to another. I don't want to turn into a old person who cannot take care of herself. I have been reading other's success stories and I am moved and inspired. Hopefully I will be one of those stories.

Great Site!
I have been looking for support and inspiration and WOW you guys give it. I started Atkins on 8/7/07 and am looking for some great results. I attend a formal Christmas party every year and would like to look good by then.

Are diet drinks ok?
I try to limit my diet drinks but my husband lost 50 pounds on Atkins and drinks probably 5 cans of diet pepsi a day. Caffined is supposed to increase your hunger that is why you are suppose to limit it, however, I drink iced tea with caffine to keep me going.
