My buddy that drives me to work just got laid off. Apart from just being plain sad that we aren't going to be hangin together in the morning, I had to think of another way to work.
So, I bought a commuter bicycle with the basket and the bags, etc. I figure if I can do this, this will be tons of exercise and less time I have to spend after work on the dvds and the treadmill.
I couldn't get it in my car and the bike rack for my car was too expensive, so they are going to put all the stuff on the bike and drop it off at 5 pm.
Tomorrow I will do a test run to see how far I can go, if I get too wiped out, how long it takes, etc. It will be great if I can do it. I will see how I do tomorrow.
I lost another 1.5 lbs, so this is good.

I am facing the fact that I am a procrastinator.. I could come up with excuses extraordinaire for just about putting off anything from exercising, studying, doing laundry, etc. etc.
I find I have to force myself to do those things that are good for me. I have no trouble now with eating good food, but the rest of it--forget it!
I just forced myself to exercise, because I was wasting too much time thinking I was going to study, but never did. Glad I did it, always am after I finish it..it's just cutting out all this extra time that I waste pushing myself to do it.
I did this cardio hip hop dvd and I swear they could have probably carted me off on a gurney, hip hop shoes and alls. But good workout and I know I burned some calories.

I don't want to start a big hullabaloo, but I was going to start logging my exercise. However, there is no way that resting and sleeping burns up that many calories. Adding it all up, you could burn a ton of calories simply by laying on your butt.
That is how I got here. I don't think you will lose a bunch of weight like that. Just my 2 cents.
