I feel like I am getting into a groove of eating better. Going pretty much cold turkey on sugar (until today's lemon bar...oh and that froyo on Friday night) has made that a lot easier. When I don't eat it I don't crave it. Same goes for carbs. The better I eat the better I want to eat. This will of course all go to hell at Christmas, but that is OK if I can keep things in order until then. This is not about never, it's about moderation. So glad to be doing this. When I record food I think about everything that goes in my mouth and how I'm then going to have to record it. I'm also looking at portions when I'm doling out my food.

My fridge has had too much decadent food that was purchased for guests and I am plowing though it like no tomorrow. The cheese has to stop. The water intake needs to increase, and there needs to be a return to greens. I've been feeling bloated and gross and looking at my burritos and brie it's no wonder. A self arrest is in order.
