Short and sweet, the journey continues. I'm SUPA HAPPY to have even lost these last TENTHS of a pound just because allergy season has REALLY slowed down my exercise routine. As my allergies have been affected, my energy has been low lately but I'm hoping my body gets used to the season soon and I get back into my routine. Definitely not giving up. #LetsDoThis

OW: 222 LBS 11/9/12
FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO!!! Officially under 185 lbs!!! 1-8-5!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! It's been a few YEARS since I've been at this weight!
One thing I have learned in this LONG journey of dieting and weight loss is to celebrate EVERY small achievement. The obstacles we go through to achieve our weight loss goals are ENORMOUS so every little step in the right direction needs to be recognized. So much negativity and distractions litter our path to our weight loss dreams that we need these mini celebrations to endure and persevere and hopefully, overcome. Anyways this post has become too long and reflective but the journey puts things in perspective. And it DEFINITELY still continues. UNDER 185!!! AHHH YEAAAAA!!! #OnToTheNextOne

Weight still popping off!! Not much to say except the perfect combination right now for me is definitely calorie counting (staying around or near my estimated daily calories from this app), exercise, at least 20 or more grams of fiber daily, and whole grains instead of enriched flour. I've tried to avoid fatty meats in favor of low fat chicken, fish, or beef but I've still kept some processed meats with the other categories and still continue the weight loss. As long as I stay motivated, hopefully I'll reach my destination. #EyesOnDaPrize

Wow! I have to say that I didn't realize how big of a difference replacing white rice with brown rice would have on my body but it really has helped my weight loss even during times when I haven't exercised as much. Along with adding enough fiber to my diet, as long as my calories are lower, I can lose some weight. I basically only had time to work out once this week but my weight went down. What a great surprise! Love it! #Slow&Steady

Pretty quick, allergy season is in full effect so my body is still adjusting to the allergy medicine I'm taking. My weight is still fluctuating a little here and there but it still appears to be trending downward every week so not too bad. Once my allergies get under control I should get back into my normal routine. Can't lose sight of the finish line!!
