Things have been quite busy adjusting to life with Thompson. Thompson and I went to Charleston a couple weeks ago so all my extended family could meet him. The best part was seeing my grandmother who is 92 holding him! That was really special.

I started keeping track of my weight watchers points on Monday and am easing back in to exercising. Yesterday I did a 20 minute Turbo Jam DVD and went to my dance class forb about half an hour.
My sister is coming into town on the 22nd to meet Thompson and I'm hoping to have lost between 5-10 lbs.

My house is a wreck right now and it'd been so hard trying to get anything done. We still have a bunch of stuff that was in our spare room , which is now the nursery , that we have to go through and get rid of /organize . I also have to go through my clothes, and write thank you notes, and just general house up keep.

37 weeks and 1 day pregnant! Had a doctor appointment this morning and I'm 2 cm dilated. My mom didn't dilate with me or my sister until she went into labor and she had long, long labors with both of us, so maybe this is a sign my labor will be a bit easier. I'm trying to make sure things are wrapped up at work, even though I am going to continue to work up until the labor. But seeing as that could be any day I don't want to leave a lot of work or confusion for my co-workers.

My parents are coming up this weekend to help decorate the nursery and I'm really excited to finally have that done!

Other than that, I've been feeling ok for the most part. Tired and have swollen legs and feet. People always ask if you're ready to be done with the pregnancy and all that, but really the pregnancy has been smooth for me and I don't even feel like I'm waddling or can't move. The most frustrating thing for me is that I can't wear most of my shoes, which of course means I don't have as many cute outfits. :) Plus I have limited wardrobe selection as well. But the baby will be here soon enough. I can't wait to meet him/her!
