I am proud to say I have exceeded the first goal and am at an acceptable weight for my body. Just bought a pair of skinny-legged jeans to show off smaller thighs and butt!! Tummy stubornly remains but heck, I am 77 so don't expect perfection. Owe this to a Dr. who read me the riot act and to my perserverance! This is a great site.

So proud of ME! I have been cutting calories and fat (cheese was a badie)to the max, sugar is not a problem with me, nor sodas, etc. I love to cook, eat fresh and healthy like black beans, split peas, salads, lean chicken; must remind myself to get more protein!

Delighted to find this helpful site! I am particularily interested in receipes that are simple, inexpensive and tasty. Live alone, cooking is a challenge but I enjoy it.
I have kicked the cheddar cheese, chips and beer out of my life for now.
