I’m a 32 year old wife and mother of 2. Our son is 15 and our daughter is 5. Yep, that’s a pretty large age difference! I had my son young and vowed to have my next one when I was married and SANE!! My wonderful husband is so supportive of me. We work out together and even count calories together.

I come from an extremely close-knit family. My parents have been married for 40 years. I have 3 sisters and no brothers. I’m pretty sure we drove our dad crazy!! Eating was always a part of our family gatherings. Food was always involved and became a comforter of mine.

The biggest part of my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. I’ve been through so much that I could write a book and make it into a Lifetime movie!! I don’t know how I would have made it without Jesus! I’m also on the praise and worship team at our church.

I began gaining weight around the age of 17 after I had my son. It went haywire after that. Since then, I’ve always been the heaviest of my sisters including my twin sister; therefore, I was very self-conscious growing up.

I’ve tried every fad diet, pill and almost tried hypnotism. Seriously!! But then I woke up and realized I need to eat less and move more. It’s as simple as that. I joined this site back in January but I didn’t get serious until March 15th.

My 1st goal is to get out of the 200s. My ultimate goal is to lose 75 lbs. I broke it down into 3- 25lb. goals.

I’m going to get this weight off and keep it off!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know why I am not losing weight anymore?
Have you changed up your exercise? If you keep doing the same thing you will eventually stop seeing rapid results. Do something different. Drink more water. Eat something entirely different. Lower your RDI. These are just some suggestions. Hope this helps!! Don't give up!!

Mayonnaise
I went to IHOP last night with my son and got the 2x2x2. But it was the healthy alternative with 2 pancakes (no butter and 1 Tbsp of syrup), 2 pieces of turkey bacon and egg substitutes. Even with cheese, onions and green peppers, those eggs tasted like egg flavored mashed potatoes. GROSS!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!
Welcome and good luck!! I still allow myself to eat what I want. However, I just don't over indulge like I used to. If I totally give up something, I tend to binge later. Never again!!!
