Candy is still an issue: I ate three gourmet lollipops yesterday for a whopping 360 EMPTY calories. My compromise is that I did work out an extra 20 minutes to burn half of what I took in.

Mid August I weighed 178-lbs and felt physically and emotionally drained and in September of 2013 I made a committment to lose 35-lbs in however much time it took but my goal was six months. Within 5-months I felt better my joints no longer hurt I had plenty of energy and my emotional compass was back on track. As of 2/17/14 I was down to 155-lbs and full of determination to get down to 140-145lbs and a flat stomach. Per the CDC a 'healthy weight for my height is between 118-150lbs. My short term goal is to lose 15-lbs and see how I feel. What I have come to realize is that 'it's not how much the scale says that you weigh it is how you look and feel. In my weight loss journey I have only weighed myself once and that was at the end of the five months.
