I'm 65. Live in Cleveland, OH. Have Rheumatic Heart disease and have to take an anticoagulant every day. I have to watch my sodium, can't have any more than 2 servings of green leafy vegetables a week.
I work full time and walk for exercise because my heart can't tolerate anything too strenuous. My goals: >5,000 steps a day. No more than 2 grams of sodium a day. 70% calories from good fats, 20% protein and 10% carbs. And 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
Lost most of my middle on the BulletProof way of eating.

Need ideas for AFFORDABLE healthy foods...
I have a favorite inexpensive snack recipe:
1 cup Nabisco Shredded Wheat&Bran cereal - no frosting!
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Any spices you like, cumin, chili powder, etc.
Put it all in a tupperware and shake it up. Serves 2 for a light, whole grain, filling snack.
Also, I suggest you buy fruits while they are on sale and put tupperware containers of whole berries and cut up fruits in the freezer. They get sweeter when frozen. You don't have to thaw them, first, just eat them like little frozen treats.
