well. i lost one pound. woohoo. but... i can tell a difference in my clothes, my energy level, and my spirits! so yeh! it tells me that if i keep going at the rate im going, it will take me a year to get to my ideal weight... the idea of that sucks, so i am adding more exercise to the program! but even if it takes a year, its worth it! i am learning how to eat healthy and even when i have a craving or a holiday, how to eat small portions and that my friend will help me through my whole life...its not just about being skinny.... its more about being healthy and respecting myself. and this week i feel good. even if the scale says i only lost one pound:)

I am 210 pounds. Heavier than I have ever been, I know now is the time to start on a different path. It seems that everyone uses food for entertainment. We go out to eat, we make dinner with friends, we go to the theatre and eat, we devote complete tv stations to food, and on the list goes. I have had too much of that kind of entertainment, and I am going on a diet! I need to rethink what is fun and entertaining.
