I made all 3 of my gym workouts, last week...Monday, Wed. & Saturday.
I did one workout at home, also. Been sticking to bringing in my own breakfast, snacks & lunch from home. Eat out for breakfast & lunch once a week, as my treat!

Ok, looking back on last week, I'm really proud of myself. I stuck to my commitment to make it to the gym at least 3 times last week. I kept it practical, even when my son's Back to School night crept up on me. To boot, one night I got on the elliptical at home and got in 45 minutes. I brought my breakfast & lunch in most days and I'm starting to recognize that I do reach for candy out of boredom. I still had some, but not the whole bag & not everyday. I'm trying to build on healthier ways to process my stress & have healthy snacks on hand. Besides losing 4 lbs in the last week & a half, my energy is going through the roof. I'm eating much healthier & taking my vitamins.
Looking forward to this week, I plan to maintain my gym schedule and maybe add one at home workout. At the least, I can get in a good 45 minute walk during my lunch hour. I'm going to bring my breakfast & lunch in 3-4 days a week, too. I have 11.5 lbs to go, so wish me luck! :o)

Made my 3rd for wk 1. I got in 1 & 1/2 hours at the gym, today. Also invited my best friend to come, so we had a ball, encouraged each other then walked up the plaza to the market for some healthy shopping.
Also, waist is now 29 & 1/2 inches! I'm really motivated for more.

Okay, today is the first day that I feel challenged to get to the gym. I woke up with excuses. Had a very busy day with my children, yesterday and I have much to do today. I'm glad I'm in this challenge, bc it's like another layer to remind me of my commitment to myself. Soooooooooooo, throwing on my gym clothes & I'm headed out! This will be my day 3 for week 1. Good luck to everyone on week 2. :o)

Yeah! Since last Wed (9/8), I've lost 3.5 lbs. & 1" on my waist!
